If you hadn’t already guessed, there is a book in the works. These five sketches are just a small sample from a much larger number of case studies in my forthcoming book.

For the lawyers, I’m not especially concerned with legal niceties or trial outcomes.  Even if all of these kids were right on the law and right on the merits, they’d still be wrong and their lawyers should have known better. Suing a parent is, with few exceptions, elder abuse.

I’ll wager all of these kids spent time “on the couch” before and after their lawsuits. The mental health professionals failed to protect these adult offspring from themselves and from their “benefactors,” the Andrew Zeidmans, Steven Miners, and John Inglesinos.

In the words of the attorney for Steven Miner’s ex-wife:

[These children] have embarrassed themselves and left a public record blogged about on the Internet that will shadow their every future relationship.

Deservedly so. “Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition … ” (KJV, 1 Cor. 10:11).
